Captain’s Delight Premium Pasteurized Crabmeat

Captain’s Delight Brand Premium Pasteurized Crabmeat is 100% Blue Swimming Crabmeat (Portunus pelagicus). The crab is steam cooked, handpicked, graded and then sealed for pasteurization. The result is a virtually shell-free crabmeat with excellent flavor. This crabmeat is processed in our privately owned plant, and has strictly followed the guidelines by Hazardous Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP).

Colossal: 100% extra large whole pieces of white meat, only the largest pieces of Jumbo Lump.
Best used in cocktail platters or center of the plate dishes.

Jumbo Lump: 100% Whole Jumbo Lump. Less than 75 pieces per can.
Best used in cocktail platters or center of the plate dishes.

Jumbo: 100% Whole Jumbo Lump. Piece count range between 90-120 pieces per can.
Best used in crab cakes, salads or pastas.

Super Lump: Broken Colossal and Jumbo Lump with small, whole Jumbo Lump pieces.
Best used in crab cakes, salads, or pastas.

Lump: A blend of 70% Lump with 30% special, large and small flakes of white crabmeat.
Best used in crab cakes, dip and soup.

Special: Small flakes of white meat handpicked from the body of the crab.
Best used in crab cakes as a binding agent. Also works great in dips and soups.

Claw: Whole crab leg meat is packed on the top and bottom layer of the can; large broken leg, arm and claw meat in the center of the can.
Best used in dips and soups.

Cocktail Claws: Whole Claw “Fingers” from the legs of the crab where the dark meat is still attached.
